BLOGMAS || Winter drugstore haul

Hello lovelies !

I'm continuing blogmas with a little haul featuring little bits and pieces I've picked up recently. It's not secret that my favourite drugstore brands come from the umbrella company "Tam beauty" So there's lots of 'Freedom' and 'Revolution' products! Some of them are dupes for high end products too!
Let's get started shall we?

Revolution vivid shimmer brick - £3

This cute little brick caught my eye when I was browsing the internet and I added it straight in my basket. I tried the brick of its intended highlight and bronzing purpose but for me I found there was a little too much glitter going on around my face, so I found other uses for each shade.
I use the lightest frosty white shade to highlight my cupids bow and inner corners of my eyes and the rest of the shades are really pretty as eye shadows! The bronzey shades really bring out the blue in my eyes which I love!
This product is rumoured to be a dupe for the Bobbi brown shimmer brick, I don't own the Bobbi one so I'm not sure but they certainly look VERY similar!
Revolution shimmer brick

I heart make-up, blushing hearts "Iced hearts" - £4.99

Another product that my eyes caught was the blushing hearts, from revolutions "I heart make up" range. Can we just stop and talk about how cute the packaging is please, I loveee how cute this looks! Its very similar looking to the "two faced" Sweet heart blushes but they aren't the same in formulation and finish. The heart pictured is way more glittery and less pigmented that the two faced.
I swirling all of the colours together for a blush and it just wasn't happening, so again I use these as eye shadows.

Maybelline lash sensational waterproof mascara - £7.99

This was a re-purchase for me. I absolutely love this mascara and what it does for my lashes. It really adds length and volume, defining my eyes and finishing off the look.
I featured this in a post a few weeks ago "Favourite mascara's " so click the link to read more on this.

Maybelline brow satin "medium brown" - £5.99

I didn't actually buy this, it was given to me by mum, she just couldn't get on with it. Thought I would give it a whirl and I really like it. I've been growing my brows out for a while now because they were so thin and uneven so my natural brows are a bit crazy at the moment. I just use the edge of the nib to outline my brows and try neaten them up and fill in any patches. The colour match is near on perfect for me too which is a bonus.

Freedom pro studio fixing spray. £5.00

I'm going to shamefully admit that I've never own a fixing spray until now, I've always used a tiny spritz of hairspray (Don't ask..) There's a lot of hype around fixing sprays at the moment so I thought I'd jump on the band wagon to see what the fuss is about. I'm glad I did because I honestly notice a difference using this spray, it just keeps my make up in place, no liner sliding all over my face and fading eye shadow. Now I understand the hype.

Freedom pro blush & highlight palette. "Peach spice & medium contour"

To my knowledge this palette isn't available to purchase yet, I was sent this in a mystery bag from Tam beauty. It's a sleek little palette with a contour & highlight and 4 blushes. The contour shade is slightly to dark for me, looks a bit muddy but I've fallen in love with the blush colours, they're so pretty and they match my skin tone perfectly.

Makeup Revolution Blur Primer - £6.00

I've been in need of a new primer for a while so I picked this one up to try. It's supposed to blur your complexion and be illuminating which just didn't happen for me. The texture is a little greasy and there's tiny specs of glitter throughout which serve no purpose in my opinion because they're covered by foundation eventually. However this primer does smooth out my face to create an even base to work with, I wasn't overly impressed with this product, sadly. It'll remain in my collection as a back up but I cant see it being used daily.

That's everything from my little drugstore haul, Hope you've enjoyed reading !
